No! I have clients ranging from 13-76. It is never too early or late to start. Age & ability will always be taken into consideration while planning your workouts, but strength training is vital at any age. In fact, it gets more important as we age so we can keep moving freely and safely in the world around us!
This is a fear of many women, but the answer is no. We do not have the same genetic makeup or hormones as men to put on mass/bulk the way they do. For women, we train to make our muscles firmer and more dense so that we have more definition and more lean mass to help us burn fat.
Yes! Any time you can move your body it's worth it, and that 1 or 2 days per week will most likely lead to creating other healthy habits in your life in addition to strength training.
